Bismarck Daily Tribune, May 31, 1885 says Bismarck and Mandan played a baseball game May 30th.
Bismarck ND (1880 pop. about 1,750; 1890 pop. about 2,200), the state capital, is about 200 miles W of Fargo ND. Mandan is adjacent to Bismarck.
