The Cleveland Plain Dealer, June 21, 1867, says the "Reserves" of Hudson played the Akron BBC on June 19, Akrom winning 53-41.
Akron OH (1860 pop. about 3,5000; 1870 pop. 10,000) is about 35 miles S of Cleveland and 12 miles S of Hudson.
