The St. George Union of 10-16-1897 (and 10-23) prints a challenge from the Dixie BBC of St. George to play any team in Washington County, Utah.
St, George UT (1900 pop. about 1,700) is near the SW corner of Utah and about 150 miles NE of Las Vegas NV. Washington County UT surrounds St. George and had a pop. of about 4600 in 1900.
