The “Athletics” of Bristol lost to the Abingdon club 73-36 at King College “last Saturday.” Bristol News, May 26, 1874.

Abington VA (current pop. about 8000) is in SW VA near the Tennessee border. King College is in Bristol TN, very near the VA border.
