Frank Vaness Hardy is single and lives in Wilmington, California per the 1952 California League Gold Book (Fourth Edition). His nationality is Bohemian-French-English. He graduated from Banning High School in 1950 and played baseball and basketball. He attends Harbor Junior College during the off-season. He served in the U. S. Marine Corps for four months. While still in high school he played on a Winter League team along with George Vico, Herman Besse, Eddie Malone, Manny Perez, Gene Mauch and Manny Fernandez.
