Glenn William Hittner is married and lives in Portland, Oregon per the 1951 California League Gold Book (Third Edition). His nationality is German. He graduated from Central High School in 1946 and played baseball and basketball. He attends the University Of Portland during the off-season and is in his senior year. He played varsity baseball for three seasons. Last year he pitched for the team which won the Oregon state semi-pro title. He served in the U. S. Army for 1 1/2 years.

He graduated from Central Catholic High School in Portland in 1946 and played baseball and basketball. He is a graduate of the University Of Portland and played baseball. He pitched for the Portland Archers who were the 1950 Oregon semi-pro champions, winning four games in the state tourney. He served in the U. S. Army for 18 months. His most unusual experience was losing a no-hit game, 1-0, to Stockton on July 1, 1951. He led the 1951 California League in wild pitches with 17.
