  • His brother, Tom Bannon, also played in the Majors; brothers George Bannon and William Bannon had minor league playing careers.
  • Was the first Major League players to hit grand slams in consecutive games, August 6 and 7, 1894.
  • He was purchased by Montreal from Newark 2/15/1905.[citation needed]
