William (Willie) A. Moore is married and lives in Los Angeles, California per the 1951 California League Gold Book (Third Edition). His nationality is Irish-Spanish. He graduated from Fremont High School in 1945 and played baseball. He attended Pepperdine College. He was in the U. S. Army for 17 months. He led the 1947 Arizona-Texas League second basemen in fielding average with .958 and double plays with 103. He led the 1948 Arizona-Texas League second basemen in fielding average with .969, putouts with 440, assists with 438 and double plays with 126. He led the 1950 Tri-State League second basemen in fielding average with .973.
