Joe Jenkins was the third-string catcher for the 1919 Chicago White Sox.

Jenkins began his professional career with Rome of the Southeastern League in 1911.Template:The Sporting News, October 18, 1911 He returned to the team in 1912 and hit .173 in 51 games for Rome. In 1913, he moved on to Keokuk of the Central Association and batted .283.Template:Minor League Baseball Stars, Vol. 3
