  • The MO-V League played a 126 game schedule which began on April 30 and ended on September 4.
  • Two All-Star Games were played.
    • On July 13 between two All-Star teams selected by the league's managers and sports writers; the South won by a 12-8 score [1].
    • On July 14 between the same two All-Star teams; the South beat the North by a 6-4 score [2].
  • A two round Shaughnessy playoff series was scheduled, but only the first round was played. In the first round the first-place team played the third place team (Centralia beat Mattoon, 3 games to 1), and the second played the fourth (Paducah beat West Frankfort, 3 to 0). The championship round was cancelled due to weather[3].
  • Total 1950 attendance: 224,579.
