- The MO-V League played a 126 game schedule which began on April 30 and ended on September 4.
- Two All-Star Games were played.
- A two round Shaughnessy playoff series was scheduled, but only the first round was played. In the first round the first-place team played the third place team (Centralia beat Mattoon, 3 games to 1), and the second played the fourth (Paducah beat West Frankfort, 3 to 0). The championship round was cancelled due to weather[3].
- Centralia led the league in wins.
- Total 1950 attendance: 224,579.
