  • The Midwest League played a 126 game, split-season schedule which began on April 24 and ended on August 28. The first half ended on June 25.
  • An All-Star Game was played on July 18 between a Midwest League All-Star team and first-half champion Fox Cities; the Foxes won the 1-0 pitchers' duel[1].
  • Fox Cities defeated Cedar Rapids 2-1 in the post-season championship playoff.
