- The Midwest League played a 130 game, two-division, split-season schedule which began on April 21 and ended on August 30. The first half ended on June 24.
- An All-Star Game was played on July 23 between a Midwest League All-Star team and first-half wins leader Wisconsin Rapids; the Twins won by a 4-3 score[1].
- A two-tier championship playoff was held, with the best-of-three championship round won by Wisconsin Rapids.
