  • The Midwest League played a 130 game, two-division, split-season schedule which began on April 18 and ended on August 29. The first half ended on June 22.
  • An All-Star Game was played on July 14 between a Midwest League All-Star team and the American Association's Iowa Oaks; the MWL Stars won by a 6-2 score[1].
  • A two-tier championship playoff was planned, but both Waterloo and Quad Cities won both half-season championships in their divisions and drew first-round byes. The best-of-three championship round was won by Waterloo.
  • Total 1975 attendance: 564,368.
