  • The Midwest League played a 140 game, three-division schedule which began on April 15 and ended on September 3.
  • An All-Star Game was played on July 30 between All-Star Teams representing the league's Northern and Southern halves. The South won by a 1-0 score.
  • A two-tier championship playoff was held after the season, with one slot filled by a wild-card. The best-of-five championship round was won by Appleton.
