  • The Midwest League played a 140 game, two-division, split-season schedule which began on April 3 and ended on September 1. The first half ended on June 15.
  • An All-Star Game was played on June 17 between All-Star Teams representing the league's Eastern and Western divisions (Quad City was counted as an Eastern team). The East won by a 5-4 score[1].
  • A three-tier championship playoff was held after the season, with the championship won by Lansing.
  • Total 2003 attendance: 3,375,898.
