Bruno Betzel was a professional player and manager.

Bruno was highly successful minor league veteran and manager. As well as teacher and a developer of talent with a twenty year managerial record. He became director of the New York Giants farm organization.

A second baseman during his playing days that began in 1910, his major league associations were with the St. Louis Cardinals for whom he played under Miller Huggins. Later he played at Louisville for seven years for Joe McCarthy.

During his managerial career he has directed clubs at Indianapolis, Louisville, Topeka,Fort Wayne, Allentown, Elmira, Durham and Montreal winning six pennants.
