Cal Ewing served as
Pacific Coast League President from 1907 to 1909. He also owned, at various times, the
Oakland Oaks and
San Francisco Seals franchises in the PCL. He is recognized by the
Pacific Coast League Hall of Fame as a co-founder of the PCL.
