- On September 2, 1956, he pitched and won both games of a double-header for 1956 New Orleans vs. 1956 Mobile
- From July 9, 1957 to August 6, 1960, he played in 179 consecutive games without making an error (159 in PCL, 14 in National League, and 6 in the American League).
- Named to the 1960 Pacific Coast League All-Star team as a relief pitcher.
- Served as pitching coach for the Houston Colt .45s Arizona Instructional League team in 1962 and their Florida Instructional League team in 1963.
