Claude Eugene Butler is single and lives in Los Angeles, California per the 1949 California League Gold Book. His nationality is American Negro. He graduated from Jefferson High School in Los Angeles in 1947. He attended East Los Angeles Junior College for two years and played baseball and was selected on the all Southern California All-Star team in 1948. He pitched a shutout and hit a home run with the bases loaded to win the Southern California Junior College championship. He played semi-pro ball with the Los Angeles Eagles.
