Daniel T. O'Connell, centerfielder, was born in Taunton, Aug 27, 1888. He broke in with Attleboro. He then went to Pawtucket, Woonsocket and to New Bedford in 1912. He was a catcher, but made an outfielder when he reported to Frank. H. Connaughton at New Bedford. He was traded to Lawrence in 1913 for Maurice Kennedy, Lawrence paying $400 to boot. He winters in Attleboro. [1]
