Richard L. Adams is married and has one daughter, Susan Jane age 5 1/2. He lives in Oakdale, California per the 1951 California League Gold Book (Third Edition). He graduated from Stockton High School in 1938. He attended Modesto Junior College and played baseball. His hobby is music. He is the brother of Bobby Adams, Cincinnati Reds second baseman. His most unusual experience came in 1941 when he hit six-for-six the same night his brother got six-for-six with Columbia, South Carolina. He served 49 months in the U. S. Army Air Corps.
