• Stahlbusch's professional umpiring career came to an abrupt end when he told Cedar Rapids manager Tyrone Boykin he'd deliberately missed a call to retaliate against a player; Boykin was being videotaped for a television story and the conversation was caught on tape. League President George Spelius and NAPBL Umpire Development Program Director Mike Fitzpatrick were investigating the incident when Stahlbusch tendered his resignation^[1].
