  • Led the 1949 California League shortstops in putouts with 243.
  • Led the 1951 California League shortstops in fielding average with .947 and set a new California League record for most assists by a shortstop with 444.
  • Led the 1952 California League shortstops in fielding average with .952, pitouts with 269 and assists with 379.
  • Led the 1953 California League shortstops in fielding average with .959 which marked a California League record.
