• Led the 1939 Middle Atlantic League in losses with 17 and modt earned runs allowed with 123.
• Led the 1946 American Association in innings pitched with 230 and strikeouts with 154.
• Led the 1948 American League in games lost with 21.
• Defeated Kansas City, 2-1 in 12 innings in 1943, retiring the last 27 batters in order.
