- He owned a pool hall in Youngstown, Ohio, which went out of business in 1908.[1]
- Brother of Kaiser Wilhelm[2]
- "Lefty" was released by 1911 Erie on July 20, 1911, shortly after joining the club after his release by Wheeling. Also released that day was Frank Warrender. George Neild and Billy Nixon, recently released from 1911 New Castle/Sharon replaced them on the roster.[3]
