• Was second in the 1945 Carolina League in batting average with .361.
• Led the 1945 Carolina League catchers in assists with 95 and double plays with 11.
• Led the 1948 California League catchers in double plays with 10.
• Led the 1951 California League catchers in runners caught stealing with 34.
