John Fluhrer was a professional player.

John Lester Fluhrer was born in Adrian Michigan, on January 3, 1894. During the 1914-1915 academic year, he attended the University of Pennsylvania as a member of the Class of 1918. That spring he was a member of his class's freshman baseball team.

Fluhrer, an outfielder, made his major league debut with the Chicago Cubs on September 5, 1915, playing with this team for less than one season; for one of these games he played under the name of "William G. Morris." John Fluhrer was listed as playing in the minors with the the Toronto Mud Hens in 1916 and 1917.

He died in Columbus, Ohio, on July 17, 1946. [1]
