John Pendergrass was a professional player.

Started his pitching career with the Buffalo club of South Troy, NY. Following that, he pitched for Union College and then became a professional player. Following his disengagement from the Baseball Trust, he became a policeman for Troy, which job he had for eight years until his death following a long illness. [1]
