Played in 1971 Western Carolinas League All-Star Game.
On October 17, 1970, he pitched a 1-0, no-hit, no-run games in the Peninsula Winter League against the Minnesota Twins' team. He faced the minimum 24 batters (game was scheduled as a 7-inning second game of a double-header); one batter reached first on an error in the fifth inning but was erased on a double play.
