Kevin (Kev) Lloyd Michael King is single and lives in Oakland, California per the 1949 California League Gold Book. He graduated from Saint Elizabeth High School in Oakland in 1947 and played baseball and football. He was a member of the school baseball team that won the C.Y.O. Championship for two years. He participated in the City-County All-Star Game. He attends the University Of San Francisco during the off-season. His hobbies are table tennis and chess. He played with the Redding Tigers semi-pro club before entering pro ball, His ambition in baseball is to be a good major league pitcher and then manage.
