Thirty-third native Hawaiian to play in the major leagues. In his senior year at Cal-State Fullerton, Suzuki was selected as the Big West Conference's Player of the Year and also won the Johnny Bench award as the top collegiate catcher in the nation. Selected as a Texas League All-Star in 2006. [1]
