Leland Leigh was a professional player.

In high school, he earned 10 varsity letters in baseball, basketball, and football. Played American Legion ball, leading the Hawthorne-Babbit Post to Nevada Legion championship, batting .428 and being named to the All-Tournament team at the Western Regional playoff. In one Legion game, he hit four consecutive home runs[1]
