- The Sporting Life shows he appeared for Louisville in 1905 in five games, four at shortstop, one at third-base. His tenure with Louisville began Sept. 4 and ended Sept. 14, 1905. He had four hits in 16 at-bats. Sporting Life spells his name as Barber, but the Louisville Times for Sept. 4, 1905 indicates that the player was formerly with Vincennes.
- Was for many years the traveling secretary of the Chicago White Sox.
