Louis P. Pieper, the manager of the Lawrence team, first saw the light of day in South Boston Dec 14, 1880. His early education was obtained in the primary schools of that city. He entered Boston Latin and graduated with the class of 1899. He then took a course in the Harvard Law School and was given his degree in 1906. Shortly afterward he was admitted to the bar. He opened offices in Boston and for some time was associated with Joseph P. Sullivan. He then removed to Lawrence in 1911 and has since made his home in that city. He was married in 1908 to Miss Elizabeth Ring and three children bless the union. They are Robert Louis, aged five; Margaret louise, aged one year and ten months, and Catherine, aged three months. The family make their home at 73 Pearl Street. [1]
