Masanori Murakami was a professional player.

In 1962, he was named to the All-Japan Senior High School baseball team. Signed to first contract by the Nankai Hawks of Osaka in Japan's Pacific League.[1] Contract was one of three purchased by the San Francisco Giants in February 1964 (along with Tatsuhiko Tanaka and Hiroshi Takahashi).[2]
