  • Made one of baseball's most amazing professional debuts by pitching two no-hitters in an eighteen day span in his first four professional starts. On May 3, 1960, he struck out 13 and walked 12 and won 4-0 against Daytona Beach. On May 20, Tampa struck out 10 times and had no hits against him.[1]
