Hired as head baseball coach at California State University - Dominguez Hills in 2004. He played collegiality at Brigham Young University where he was an NCAA Division I First-Team All-America selection in 1979.[1] Some of the players drafted while he has been head coach include Ryan Owen, Mateo Marquez, and Cody Puckett.[2]

Su'a has international baseball experience with the American Samoa National Baseball Team (1989-2000) playing in numerous international tournaments including the Olympic trials, World Baseball Challenge, and the NBC World Series. He earned a gold medal in the BCO Championships and silver medals in the 1999 South Pacific Games and the 2000 Olympic qualifying tournament.[3]

Su’a was a junior golden gloves boxer, received a music scholarship for gifted musicians to the Californian Institute of Arts, holds a third degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, was a three-time karate grand champion, is a member of the Screen Actors Guild (with a part in "Talent for the Game" (1991), and was the former CEO of Royal Pacific Express, Inc., an airfreight trucking and transportation company.[4]
