Profile
Nick was acquired by the Pittsburgh Pirates from the Boston Braves in 1941 for 35 year old Lloyd Waner. He won 40 games for Pittsburgh from 1944 through 1946. The sidearming curveballer had a club high of 16 wins in 1946. He completed an unassisted double play 1940.
