Schreckengost apparently played for the Williamsport Demorest team in 1895, although the team may not have been fully professional at the time:
F.O. Schrecengost, who left this place last week to play ball with the Williamsport Demorests, played his first game on May 4, and made a good beginning. He made four runs, three hits, seven put-downs and three assists.[1]
