Robert Hamley died of cancer on May 21, 1961 at Alexian Brothers Hospital in Elizabeth, New Jersey on his 29th birthday. He served in the Army from December 1952 to December 1954. He was a patrolman on the Elizabeth, New Jersey Police force from September 1960 until his death.[1]
