Robert (Slats, Rapid Robert) Anthony Souza is single and lives in Oakland, California per the 1949 California League Gold Book. His nationality is Portuguese. He graduated from Castlemont High School in Oakland in 1948 and played baseball and basketball. His hobby is following sports. Before entering pro ball he played with the Golden State Fireworks team. His most unusual baseball experience was getting 6 for 6 in a 21-3 game and still not batting in a single run.
