Salvador Frank Taormina is married and has two daughters, Lorraine and Diana and lives in San Jose, California per the 1951 California League Gold Book (Third Edition). His nationality is Italian. He graduated from San Jose High School in 1941 and played basketball. He is a milk salesman and deliveryman during the off-season. His hobbies are hunting and fishing. He holds the California League record for most consecutive hits with 8 in the June 14, 1942 doubleheader that had San Jose against Fresno. He was in the U. S. Army Air Corps 1942-1945.
