Stanley (Rosie) Hart Roseboro is single and lives in Walla Walla, Washington per the 1952 California League Gold Book (Fourth Edition). His nationality is Scotch-Irish-English. He graduated from Walla Walla High School and participated in baseball, basketball and track. He attends Central Washington College Of Education during the off-season and he played baseball and basketball before entering pro baseball. He served in the U. S. Navy for two years. He led the 1951 Far West League in batting average with .409, triples with 21 and stolen bases with 36. He won the A. G. Spalding Trophy for the highest batting average by a rookie in Organized Baseball in 1951. He tied for the fourth highest batting average mark in all professional baseball in 1951.
