His first name Orville is sometimes misconstrued as Onville. I think this is because of transcription problems. He appears as "Onville Richard Boothby" in the California Voter Registration. But his World War I registration has his signature which clearly is Orville. Also, there is a Boothby genealogical site - http://books.dreambook.com/mimitabby/boothby.html - where his granddaughter wrote that his name was Orville Richard "Cy" Boothby.
