According to Edward Barry's WWI Draft Registration Card, he was born on 16 Oct 1881. This is supported by his WWI Military Registration Card and several online databases at ancestry.com, such as Wisconsin Births, etc.

His father is James Barry (1858 – 1916) and his mother is Sarah Maria Sweeney (1860 – 1929).

He married Helen E. ____ by at least Sept. 1918 (Military Registration Card). They had a daughter, Elizabeth, who was a month old when the 1920 US Census was taken.
