McGuire's an interesting notability edge case for this wiki: He's had a long career in baseball, including a stint as a minor league team president, but his jobs have been on the business side in the Cubs front office. I've created his page because I'm doing MWL team presidents; it's not clear anyone would create a page purely on the basis of his front office career. On the other hand, it's pretty clear that long business-side careers are interesting to some of our members.

Said differently: There are lots of folks who sold tickets for several seasons; if that's all they did, they're probably no more interesting than the batboys or the ushers. But folks do progress from the ticket office (and the batboy and usher jobs) to Assistant GM; those folks are probably interesting, even if they never worked the player development side.
