Template:League-season-infobox

This template displays an infobox with basic information about a given season of a league. This template is typically used and populated by automated tools, and will rarely need to be used or edited manually by users.

The following parameters are required:

  • year: The year in which the league operated. For winter or Southern Hemisphere leagues with seasons which cross the new year, the year is the year in which the season opened.
  • name_full: The full name of the league. This will almost always match the page name.

The following parameters are optional:

  • classification: For professional leagues in the National Agreement/Minor League Baseball, the classification to which the league was assigned. Independent may be specified for professional leagues not operating under the NA/MiLB.

The template queries the semantic properties Property:person-league-president, Property:person-league-vicepresident, Property:person-league-secretary, and Person-league-treasurer to display links to the pages for league officers, if present. See Template:person-league-executive for a career entry template to indicate a person's service in one of these roles.
