  • Played baseball and basketball in high school.
  • Graduated from the University Of Oklahoma with a B. S. Degree in Education.
  • Played varsity baseball and was named to the All-Big Seven team in 1954 and 1956.
  • Played American Legion ball, pitching his team to a state title in 1952 and winning a trip to Detroit as a result.

  • Works as a school teacher or tile-setter during the off-season.
