Walter Andrew Peluso is married and has two children, Andrew L. age 3 and Joy Faye age 2. He lives in Van Nuys, California per the 1951 California League Gold Book (Third Edition). He graduated from North Hollywood High School in 1944 and played baseball and basketball. He is a bookkeeper during the off-season. His hobbies are swimming and movies. His biggest day in baseball was pitching a two-hit shutout in the Sunset League, a circuit known as a hitter's paradise. He served in the U. S. Coast Guard for two years.
