Wayne Leon Clary is married and has one son and lives in Shelton, Washington per the 1952 California League Gold Book (Fourth Edition). He graduated from Reed High School in Shelton and played baseball, football and basketball. He works in a saw mill during the off-season. He was voted "Most Valuable Player" of the 1951 Redding club, receiving a wrist watch for the honor.
